Working with the notebook
Port replicator
The port replicator (available as an accessory) is a docking device using which you can
quickly c onn ect y our noteboo k to your peripheral devices. For this purpose, the port replicator
features standard ports for monitor, HDMI, LAN and USB devices.
Only use the supplied 100 W mains adapter from Fu jitsu Technology
Solutions to run the port replicator.

devices that can be connected to i t is contained in the ch apter entitled

Setting up the port replicat

Select a s uitable location for the port replicator befo re s etting it up.
Follow the instructions belo w when d oing so:
Never place the port r eplicator on a soft surface (e.g. carpeting, upholstered furniture, bed).
This can block the air vents of the n otebook and cause overheating and damage.
Place the port replicator o
n a stable, at and non-slip surface. Please note that the
port replicator’s rubber
feet may mark certain types of surface.
Never place the port replicator and the mains adapter on a heat-sensitive surface.
Do not expose the port repl
icator to extreme environmental conditions.
Protect the port replicator from dust, humidity and heat.
