Virtualization Tech (VT-x)
Specifies whether additional hardware properties (Vanderpool
Technology) are activated (Enabled) or deactivated (Disabled).
I A complete reset is necessary to change this option.
Virtualization Tech (VT-d)
Specifies whether additional hardware properties (Virtualization
Technology for Directed I/O) are activated (Enabled) or deactivated
(Disabled).
NX Memory Protection
Specifies whether CPU support for "No Execution Memory Protection" is
activated (Enabled) or deactivated (Disabled).
I This option is not available in all operating systems.
Adjacent Cache Line Prefetch
Specifies whether the CPU reads two cache lines ahead (Enabled) or just
one (Disabled).
Hardware Prefetch
Specifies whether a hardware prefetch is activated (Enabled) or
deactivated (Disabled).
I The use of this option depends on the various performance results
for different applications.
Intel® HT Technology
Specifies whether Hyperthreading is activated (Enabled) or if only one
thread per enabled core is enabled (Disabled).
Turbo Boost Technology
Specifies whether processor cores are allowed to run faster than marked
frequency in specific condition (Enabled) or not (Disabled).
Limit CPUID Function
Specifies whether CPUID commands are to be processed with more
than 3 functions (Enabled) or not processed (Disabled).
I Some operating systems cannot handle new CPUID commands
that have more than 3 functions. This option should be set to
Enabled for these operating systems.
