Power supply unit (PSU)
The server comes with two PSUs in a 1600 watt version for mains voltages of
100 - 240 V.
To serve as a redundant power supply support. If one PSU fails, the second
PSU in the redundant configuration ensures operation can continue
uninterrupted and the defective PSU can be replaced during operation (hot-
plug).
To serve as non redundant power supply support. If one PSU fails, the system
may run with CPU performance limited condition to ensure operation can
continue uninterrupted then the defective PSU can be replaced during
operation (hotplug).
Advanced Thermal Design
The Advanced Thermal Design option allows you to operate the system with a
wider temperature range either of 5 °C to 40 °C or 5 °C to 45 °C, depending on
your system and configuration.
V CAUTION
In a system that is configured with Advanced Thermal Design, only
certain components which support the respectively increased higher
operating temperature range may be installed and used. For applicable
restrictions, please refer to the official configurator tool.
High level of availability and data security
When memory data is accessed, 1-bit errors are identified in the main memory
and automatically corrected with the error correcting code (ECC) method.
AC Input voltage Available modes
AC 100 V - 127 V No redundant PSU support (mode: two fixed PSUs)
AC 200 V - 240 V Redundant PSU support (mode: 1+1 PSU)
This option can only be ordered from the
manufacturer and is indicated by the respective
logo on the identification rating plate.
