5.4 Connecting the server to the mains
The server comes with two PSUs to ensure a redundant power supply. Each
PSU can be replaced during operation (see the "FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY
RX4770 M4 Server Upgrade and Maintenance Manual").
V CAUTION!
The server is automatically set to a mains voltage in the range
100 - 240 V. You may only operate the server if its rated voltage range
corresponds to the local mains voltage.
Ê Connect the power cord to the PSU.
Ê Connect the mains connector to an outlet on the rack's socket strip (see also
Technical Manual for the rack).
5.4.1 Securing the power cords (AC PSU)
You can secure the power cords with a hook-and-loop-tape to ensure that the
insulated connectors cannot be disconnected from the server accidentally.

Ê Unroll the hook-and-loop-tape (1).
Ê Fix the mains connector of the power cord with the hook-and-loop-tape as
shown in the figure (2).
