Before setup
Before deciding the connection type between several
charging stations (CS), decide the internet connection
type for the master CS. Refer to 4.9 To decide internet
connection type, page 21.
The system is equipped with a built-in meshed Wi-Fi
system that contributes to an easy installation. However,
large distances or radio obstacles may require physical
ethernet cable connections. Cable connection is a good
recommendation, but comes with pros and cons. The
first charging station unit must be setup as a master unit.
Other charging station units can be connected to the
master unit using mesh Wi-Fi, ethernet cable or both.
The master charging station unit is the bridge between
the mesh Wi-Fi and the ethernet cable. It is not possible
to switch between Wi-Fi and ethernet without assigning
a charging station as a master unit. Each internet
connection type must be set up through a master unit.
NOTE
If DLM is used, all charging stations must be on the same
network.
NOTE
Number of units in a connection group is limited to 32.
If more units are needed, then subgroups needs to be
used.
Create and setup a load interface
1. Create a unit, add a name for it and select GARO
Entity Balance.
