Cause The throttle is engaged when the CartManager XD is started. This cutout prevents the CartManager
XD from lurching forward if the throttle grips are not in neutral position when the key switch is turned
on.
Correction
1. Release the throttle grips and do not turn them while starting the CartManager XD. If this clears
the error, no further action is necessary.
2. Remove throttle grip housing cover and check throttle grip neutral position, adjust if necessary.
3. Check throttle grip centering spring. Replace if not returning throttle grips to neutral position when
released.
4. With the throttle grips in neutral position, measure the resistance between potentiometer terminals
1 & 3. It should be 2.5 ± 0.2 K ohms. Adjust if necessary.
