GBA ST1C Operations manual V1_4
How to handle a note that is found in the validator at power up: If the ST1C validator detects that
there is a note in the note path when it powers up, by default it will return the note to the user.
However, for some applications this behaviour is undesirable as the user is awarded a credit
before a note is stacked. The validator can be configured to stack the note instead.
Depending on the interface selected, the validator will give one of the following messages:
Interface Message to host
Pulse and Parallel No message
BSCP (RS232) Note type zero stacked (zero = unknown denomination)
MDB Note rejected
ccTalk Unknown Bill Type Stacked (event code 0,21)
SSP Unknown Note Stacked At Reset (event code 0xE2)
JVI/VCCS No message
