2.2.4 Note Guide & Faceplate Options
Note guides are available in two sizes:
1. USD – suitable for note widths up to 67mm
2. CAN – suitable for note widths up to 70mm
There is a different faceplate for each of the note guide widths, and both styles of faceplate are
available in either up or down stacking configuration.

To limit the impact of machine abuse is anticipated, the GBA ST1C unit is secured to the faceplate
using four screws. The validator can be mounted either with the faceplate showing at the front of
the host machine or with the majority of the faceplate concealed, and just the illuminated note
guide visible.
