Locking the Closing Latch if the Closing Spring is Charged
The closing latch may be actuated unintentionally when
manipulations are being performed on the spring mechanism.
Performing manipulations on the spring mechanism when the
closing spring is charged and the closing latch is not locked poses
a risk of injury.
Insert the locking device (11) for the closing latch (12) and fasten
it to the shaft of the manual opening release (9).
Removing the Safety Plate
Remove the safety plate (13).
Prevent inadvertent manual actuation of the spring
mechanism by locking the closing latch.
