Opening Manually
• Release the opening latch (24) using the manual opening release
(9).
• At the same time, turn the nut (22) counterclockwise until the
support latch (21) of the roller follower (23) has passed the
opening latch (24).
• Continue turning the nut (22) counterclockwise until the pressure
is removed from the hook (19).
• At the end of this operation, the opening springs in the pole
columns and the mechanism are discharged and the breaker
position indicator indicates that the circuit breaker is open.
