Connect the System Cables (Wireless Option)
Connect cable labeled COM2 to COM2 port on the MAC
5000 back panel.

Keep leakage current within acceptable limits
when connecting auxiliary equipment to this
device.
Total system leakage current must not exceed 100
microamperes.
Connect External Devices (Exercise Option)
Your MAC 5000 system can connect at port 1 with the
following devices:
n
GE Medical Systems Information Technologies Series
T2000 treadmills,
n
SunTech Tango blood pressure device,
n
Colin STBP-780 blood pressure device, or
n
Ergoline 900/900L integrated blood pressure device.
Ć” Before using external devices the MAC 5000 must be
properly set up (see Chapter 14, ā€œDefining the System
Setupā€) and exercise protocols must be properly defined (see
Chapter 7, ā€œEdit Protocols Optionsā€).
Your MAC 5000 system can connect at the ANA/TTL port
with the following devices:
n
The Ergoline 800 ergometer.
n
The Ergoline 900 ergometer.
n
The Lode ergometer.
Ć” Other bicycle ergometers and treadmill models with an
analog port can be connected to the analog output of the
MAC 5000.
Ć” A TTL QRS trigger signal for external devices can be
connected to the ANA/TTL port.
