Followtheseinstructionstocleanthemonitor,modules,EEGheadbox,andother
non-appliedpartsunlessthereareseparatepart-specicinstructions.Non-applied
partsrefertothosepartsofthesystemthatarenotindirectcontactwiththepatient.
Beespeciallycarefulwhencleaningthedisplayormonitorscreen.Theyaremore
sensitivetoroughcleaningmethodsthanforexamplethemonitorhousing.
1.Turnoffthepowertotheequipment.
2.Disconnecttheequipmentfromthepowersupply.
3.Removeallcablesandbatteries(ifapplicable)andclosebatterydoor(s).
4.Dampenasoftlint-freeclothwithoneofthepermitteddetergents.
5.Wringexcessliquidfromtheclothandwipetheexteriorsurface.Payspecial
attentiontohardtocleanareas,likegroovesandcrevices.
Anycontactofcleaningordisinfectingsolutionswithmetalpartsmaycause
corrosion.
Donotdamageorbendconnectorpinswhencleaningordrying.
6.Removeanysoilassoonaspossibleafterusebywipingthedevice.
Donotletuidpoolaroundconnectionpins.Ifthishappens,blotdrywithacotton
swaborsoftcloth.
7.Wipeoffthecleaningsolutionswithaclean,lightlymoistenedcloth.
8.Drythoroughlywithadry,lint-freeclothandletairdryforatleast30minutes.
Dryingtimesmayvarybasedontheenvironmentalconditions.
9.Visuallyensurethatthedeviceisclean.Ifvisiblesoilremains,repeatcleaning
procedureuntilthedeviceisthoroughlyclean.
10.Insertbatteries(ifapplicable)andclosebatterydoors.
11.Reconnecttheequipmenttothepowersupply.
12.Turnonthepowertotheequipment.
