Thisprocedureexplainshowtocleanthethermalprinthead.Fromheavyusage,
debrisaccumulatesonthethermalprintheadanddistortstheprintedimage.Itis
recommendedthatyouperformthisprocedurewhennecessary,dependingonusage.
Anonabrasivematerial/clothandisopropylalcoholareallthatarenecessaryto
performthisprocedure.
1.Turnoffthepowertothedevice.
2.Disconnectthedevicefromthepowersupply.
3.Openthewriterdoortoexposetheprinthead.
4.Removepaperroll.
5.Locatetheprinthead.Aashlightmayhelpilluminatetheprintheadforcloser
examination.
6.Wipetheprintheadwithalcoholandanonabrasivematerial/cottonswabina
sidetosidemotion.Continuewipinguntilthecloth/swabwipesclean.
7.Wipepaperdriverollercleanofanybitsofpaperanddebriswithalcoholanda
nonabrasivematerial.
