Freezer Evaporator
To access the freezer evaporator:
1. Access the freezer evaporator assembly. (See
Freezer Evaporator Assembly.)
2. Remove the freezer evaporator fan assembly.
(See Freezer Evaporator Fan Assembly.)
3. Place the freezer shelf in the top position.
Place the evaporator assembly on the
shelf. (Note the position of all wiring prior to
disassembly.
4. Starting at one corner, use a screwdriver and
unlock the 6 tabs from the housing cover.
Note: When installing the fan assembly, ensure
that the housing lip inserts into the channel.

3. Remove the 4 Phillips-head screws that
hold the evaporator fan assembly in place.
Remove the evaporator fan assembly.
Evaporator Assembly
Freezer Evaporator Fan Assembly
The freezer evaporator fan assembly consists
of a 2-speed DC fan motor, blower wheel, and
housing. It is mounted on top of the evaporator.
To remove the freezer evaporator fan
assembly:
1. Access the freezer evaporator assembly. (See
Freezer Evaporator Assembly.)
2. To access the fan assembly screws, support
the evaporator assembly from the machine
compartment grille mounting bracket with a
bent wire hook (see photo).
