MOUNTING REQUIREMENTS
Given that the Senographe DMR has a modular design, its optimal use depends on the relative
position of the modules (see the Installation Plan prepared for each site).
However, the gantry and rad shield screen require a minimum amount of ”free space” (see
Table 3–2 below).

RADIATION SHIELDING
The RAD shield screen has a 1 mm (0.04”) lead thickness equivalency.
The limit value for the whole–body equivalent dose must not exceed 50 mSev (5Rem) per
year for the European Regulations.
The minimum permissible distances to be out of these limits, under the mentioned parameters,
are given on page 3–12/Illustration 3–9.
