6. Observe the vent of the coolant
expansion tank. When there is
continuous coolant flowing out from the
vent of the coolant expansion tank and
the coolant level in the coolant
expansion tank does not drop anymore,
tighten the pressure cap of the coolant
expansion tank until the coolant is filled.
If the ethylene glycol type coolant
certified by Geely is filled, the damage
or fault caused by using inferior coolant or
unqualified coolant mixture is not covered
by Geely's warranty.
Power battery coolant filling
Be sure to park the vehicle on flat ground
when inspecting engine coolant level.
Check that the coolant level in the coolant
expansion tank is between MAX and MIN
marks. If the coolant level is lower than the
MIN mark, fill the coolant expansion tank
with coolant according to the specified
procedure.
The pressure cap of the coolant expansion
tank must not be opened until the cooling
system (including the pressure cap of the
coolant expansion tank and the upper
radiator hose) is completely cooled.
1. Turn the pressure cap counterclockwise
slowly. If you hear any “fizz” sound,
open it after “fizz” sound disappears.
Fizz means there is still pressure inside;
2. Continue to turn the pressure cap and
remove it;
3. Slowly fill the coolant until the coolant
volume in the expansion tank reaches
between MAX and MIN, and the liquid
level does not drop;
4. Start the vehicle, keep the vehicle
stationary, turn on the air conditioning
system, and exhaust the residual air in
the system through the operation of the
electric water pump; Squeeze the
radiator outlet hose to speed up the
evacuation;
5. If the coolant in the coolant expansion
tank drops, replenish the coolant in
time. The coolant level in the coolant
expansion tank should be kept between
MAX line and MIN marks;
6. Observe the vent of the coolant
expansion tank. When there is
continuous coolant flowing out from the
vent of the coolant expansion tank and
the coolant level in the coolant
expansion tank does not drop anymore,
