The system controls according to the pre-
saved set speed.
Acceleration in cruise control
The acceleration can be realized through
either of the two methods:
• Depress the accelerator pedal to
increase speed.
• When the cruise control is enabled, push
up and hold the vehicle speed
adjustment and setting button, and the
speed will continue to increase at 5 km/h
until the vehicle accelerates to the
desired speed or to the maximum set
speed of 160 km/h, then release. To
slightly accelerate, push the button up.
One short up-push and the vehicle speed
will increase by 1km/h. One long up-push
and the vehicle speed will increase by
5km/h.
Deceleration in cruise control
If the cruise control system is enabled,
• Push down and hold the speed
adjustment and setting button, and the
speed will decrease constantly at 5 km/h
until the vehicle decelerates to the
required speed or reaches the minimum
set speed of 30 km/h, and then release it.
• To slightly decelerate, push the button
down. One short down-push and the
vehicle speed will decrease by 1km/h.
One long down-push and the vehicle
speed will decrease by 5km/h.
Overtaking when using cruise
control
Increase vehicle speed with accelerator
pedal. Vehicle speed will decrease to preset
cruise control speed when the foot leaves
accelerator pedal.
Use of cruise control at ramp
The performance of the cruise control
system at the ramp depends on the vehicle
speed, load and the gradient of the ramp. It
is necessary to depress and hold
accelerator pedal to maintain vehicle speed
when vehicle is climbing up the steep slope.
When going downhill, brake or lower to a
low gear to maintain the speed. Cruise
control will be turned off when brake is
applied.
Ending cruise control
The following methods can be used to end
cruise control:
• Depress the brake pedal to exit the
cruise control system.
• Press and release the cruise control
recovery button to exit the cruise control
system.
• Press and release twice or press and
hold the cruise control recovery button to
close the cruise control system.
Clearing vehicle speed memory
When the cruise control or vehicle power
supply is turned off, the cruise control set
speed memory will be cleared.
Automatic speed limit control
system (LIM)
With the automatic speed limit control
system (LIM), the driving speed will not
exceed the preset speed limit.
