33. On-vehicle Hands-free
Phone (Optional)
The on-vehicle hands-free device consists of the
following:
One microphone
One on-vehicle hands-free phone controller
one on-vehicle hands-free phone panel
In addition to the above items, there is also the on-
vehicle hands-free phone wire harness inside the
instrument panel.
You also need an on-vehicle hands-free phone
adapter matching your cell phone.
Description:
1. With the hands-free feature, you don't have to
hold the phone in your hand when making phone
calls.
2. When there is a call coming in the caller's voice
will be heard through the radio speaker. When mak-
ing the phone call, you can easily talk as if to other
passengers in the car without any extra effort and
adjust the volume of the conversation by adjusting
the volume of the cell phone.
3. You can answer the call by the switch of the
microphone or setting the cell phone to automatic
answer. This function is only fit for the following
mobile phone such as Motorola, Nokia, Anycall,
Simens and a part of CDMA.
4. Before using the phone, select the adapter suitable
for the phone, plug the 8-pin crystal connector into
the hands-free input socket (see illustration 1), and
insert the earphone end of the adapter into the ear-
phone interface (see illustration 2) of the cell phone.
5. You can automatically receive the call by enabling
the function of automatic answer for incoming call.
6. When there is a incoming call, after it rings three
times, the vehicle audio system will mute automati-
cally and the phone will be switched to the hands-
free mode. After the call is finished, the vehicle
audio system will resume its original status auto-
matically.
7. In order to ensure the quality of the conversation,
it is recommended not to open the window during
the call to prevent the wind from affecting the con-
versation quality.
8. When leaving the car, please take the cell phone
with you or turn off the automatic answer feature.
The incoming call will be transferred.
9. When disconnecting the cell phone from the on-
vehicle phone adapter, you can make normal calls
without the hands-free operation.
10. When upgrading the Bluetooth on-vehicle hands-
free phone, you can choose the Bluetooth adapter and
consult the Geely service station for additional order.
