Emergency actions
If electrolyte is spilled into the eyes,
wash with clean water immediately,
and go to hospital right away. Keep
cleaning the eyes with sponge or clean
cloth soaked with clean water.
If electrolyte is spilled onto the skin,
clean the skin completely. If skin feels
hurt of burnt, go to hospital right
away.
If e l e c t rolyte is spilled onto the
clothes, it may seep through the clothes
and touch skin. So, take off the clothes
as soon as possible. Use the methods
above when necessary.
If somebody drinks the electrolyte ac-
cidentally, drink a lot of water or milk,
and have milk with magnesia, broken
raw egg, and vegetable oil. And go to
hospital immediately.
11. Precautions on Recharging
Battery
Battery produces hydrogen when being re-
charged.

Inspect if the battery has any corrosion or loose
connection, cracks or loose clips.

If battery has corrosions, clean it with warm
water mixed with soda. Apply some vaseline
on connections to avoid further corrosion.
2. If the connection is loose, screw the nuts
on, but not too tight.
3. Fasten the clip to specied torque, not too
tight, or battery may be damaged.
Recharge in spacious place. Do
not recharge in garage or closed room.
There is not enough ventilation there.
Do not recharge battery when en-
gine is on. Shut all electric facilities off.
This vehicle series uses sealed
maintenance-free battery. Recharge
with constant voltage between 14~15V.
It usually takes several hours to set up
current with battery that is not fully
discharged.
