If it is hard to shift to reverse range, you have
to set the select lever to netural position, tem-
porarily release the clutch and then try one
more time.
It should be noticed when driving at low
speed gear on slippery road that abrupt
shift is liable to self-rotation or slip of the
wheels.

Shift the gear range with the lock re-
lease knob remaining pressed down
Normal shift
Depress the brake pedal. Shift the
gear range with the lock release knob
remaining pressed down (the ignition
switch must be set to “ON” position).
