26. Rear Park Radar (optional)
The rear park radar system consists of ultrasonic
radar sensor, display, micro computer digital
controlling box and wire harness. When backing
up, the ultrasonic probe installed in the tail of
the vehicle detects the object distance and you
can judge the safe backing-up distance by the
monitor display and the audio alarm and take
preventive measures against potential accidents.
Rear Park Radar Test
When you engage the reverse gear, the rear park
radar system starts to work. With the object en-
tering into the detecting area within 1.0m from
1.5m away, the buzzer beeps “BI
...
BI
...
BI
...
”; the
monitor displays related values, when falling into
the range of 0.9 to 0.5M, the monitor displays
related values and the buzzer beeps increasingly
“BI...BIBI...”; when entering into the area within
0.4m, the buzzer is in consecutive alarm, and the
monitor displays the related values. Area within
0.2m is blind area and no detecting is performed.
