Warning
If there are any damages, such as cut, break,
or deep cleavage or ination that revealed the
cords, the inner side of tire is also damaged.
The tire must be replaced.
If the tire often leaks or cannot be repaired
because of the size or location of cut or other
damage, the tire must be replaced. If it is hard
to tell, contact Geely service station.
If tire leaks when driving, do not drive the ve-
hicle any more with the at tire. Even a small
distance may cause unrecoverable damage to
the tire.
If the tire is more than 6 years old, even if
there is no visible damage, it must be inspected
by qualied technicians.
Tire aging also happens to tires that is not used
or seldom used due.
These also apply to spare and stocked tires.
Obey the following instructions, or death
or serious injuries may happen,
Do not mix the use of radial,
diagonal threaded tire, or diagonal tire
with cord fabric, or the vehicle may lose
control because of difcult operation.
Only use tires whose size the
manufacturer recommends, or the
vehicle may lose control because of dif-
cult operation.
Replace Tire
Replace the tires with new ones of the same
size, structure, and with same or more load as
the old ones.
Use of any other size of types of tire will im-
pact drivability, comfort, and speed/mileage
meter calibration, ground clearance and clear-
ance between body and tire or tire chain.
7. Tire Check and Replacement
Inspect Tire
Check the tire by tire thread wear mark. If the
mark is visible, this tire must be replaced.
Geely tires are manufactured with tire thread
wear mark to show when the tire needs to be
replaced. When the tire is worn to 1.6mm or
less in thickness, mark appears. When mark
is visible on two or more adjacent threads, the
tire needs to be replaced. The thinner the tire
is, the more likely to have skidding dangers.
If the tire is worn to 4mm or less in thickness,
the anti-snow function is lost.
