Follow the instructions below to avoid
injuries when jacking the vehicle up:
Do not put any part of the person
under the vehicle that is being lifted.
There may be injuries.
Do not start or run the engine when
the vehicle is being jacked up.
Stop the car on rm at road sur-
face, apply parking brake, and shift
to “P” (for AT), or Reverse (for MT).
When necessary, place a bump stop
under the wheel that is diagonal to the
wheel that is to be replaced.
Conrm the jack is positioned at the
correct jacking point. Incorrect posi-
tion may damage the vehicle or the car
may fall off and people will be injured.
When vehicle is supported only by
the jack, nobody is allowed to be under
the vehicle and need to use the vehicle
support bracket.
Do not jack the vehicle up when
there is people in it.
Do not put anything on or under the
jack when jacking the vehicle up.
When there is outow of brake uid,
wash it away with water to avoid part or
paint damage.
Do not drive the vehicle when air
cleaner is taken off or there will be exces-
sive engine wear. And back re will cause
engine compartment on re.
Please pay attention not to scratch
window panes with wiper.
Check if there is any tool or cloth left
in the engine compartment before shut-
ting the engine hood.
