Make sure the strut bar is placed back in
the original clamp before closing the en-
gine hood. Closure of the engine hood with
the strut bar loosened will result in distor-
tion of the engine hood.
Insert the strut bar into the slot, make
sure the strut bar support the engine
hood tightly lest the hood falls on the
head or body.
3. Insert the strut bar into the slot to keep
the engine hood open.
Insert the strut bar into slot upright, if the strut
bar slides aside, it will be set apart.
Make sure there is no tool left in the engine
compartment before closing the engine hood.
Place the strut bar back in the original clamp
to avoid click. Then put down the engine hood
and make sure it is locked. You can press the
front edge of the hood to lock it if necessary.
