The air bag system can only work
once. If the air bag system has been triggered
due to the accident, it should be replaced.
Never attempt to transform any part of
the air bag system.
Any operation of the air bag system
should be performed by Geely service station,
including the removal and installation of the
air bag system required to repair other parts
of the vehicle (e.g. removal of the steering
wheel).
The air bag should be replaced within
10 years (no later than 14 years in maxi-
mum) from the date of manufacturing. The
replacement should be made by Geely service
station. The manufacturing date is shown
in the vehicle qualification certificate and
repair manual. Make sure that you replace
the air bag according to the specied date in
order to ensure the normal operation of the
air bag system. If some part of the air bag
system is replaced due to accident before the
above-mentioned date, the service station will
record it in the maintenance manual. All the
on-vehicle documents shall be handed over to
the owner of the new car.
When disposing of the car, make sure
the related safe disposal regulations are fol-
lowed. Geely service stations are very familiar
with these regulations.
Air Bag Usage Precautions
Please read it carefully and always place
the manual in the car;
Fasten the seat belt any time;
Sit in the driver’s seat as rearward as pos-
sible and make yourself comfortable;
Do not let any object, pet and especially
child under 12 years old occupy the space
between the air bag and front passenger;
Do not attach or place any object on the
steering wheel and the cover of the air bag,
do not install any non-original garnish
on the steering wheel. Only dry cloth or
slightly soaked cloth can be used to clean
the concerned part;
The air bag system can only work once. If
