Answer mode Select
The answering machine operates in two modes, "answer
and record (Announce1)" or "answer only (Announce2)".
Each mode comes with a pre-set announcement that is
played to your callers. You can choose the desired mode
as follows:
1. Press the TAM soft key in Standby mode.
2. Press the
or key repeatedly to choose
TAM Setting, use the Select key to confirm.
3. Press the
or key repeatedly to choose
ANNC Select, press the Select key.
4. Use the
or key to choose Announce1 or
Announce2, press the Select key.
Notes:
y If you choose Announce2, the caller hears your
announcement but will not be able to leave a
message.
y The Announce2 is also played when your answering
machine becomes full.
