TAM Setting (AMPLIDECT™285 only)
TAM On/Off
You are able to switch the answering machine on or off.
Way 1: Using the menu
1. Press the TAM soft key in Standby mode.
2. Press the
or key repeatedly to choose
TAM Setting, use the Select key to confirm.
3. Press Select key again to choose TAM On/Off.
4. Use the
or key to choose On or Off, press
the Select key.
Way 2: Using the base unit
In the active mode (all lights on) press key on the
base unit to enable or disable this function, the current
state will be announced.
TAM Alert
A tone will sound every 1 minute when a new message is
received until you review the message. You are able to
switch the tone on or off.
1. Press the TAM soft key in Standby mode.
2. Press the
