D) Replacing the system for turning off
and stopping the engine
31 Remove the flywheel [ 6.9.E].
32 Disconnect the brake wire (21) from the lever
(22).
33 Disconnect the cable (23) of the microswitch
(24).
34 Undo the two screws (25) fastening the sup-
porting bracket (26).
35 On assembly, follow the steps described in
reverse.
36 Refit the flywheel [
6.9.E].
37 Reconnect the petrol pipe and start the engine.
Release the lawnmower lever and check that
the engine stops within 3 seconds.
WARNING! Never return the lawnmower to
your client without checking brake efficiency.
Tightening torques

Brake support fixing screws .............. 8-10 Nm
