Programable Button Options
PRO
Button
Dual / Triple Watch DT
Enable Dual or Triple Watch to monitor the current working channel, priority channel
and selected trple watch channel. Press PRO for dual watch, press and hold PRO for
Triple watch.
Transmitt Power PW Cycle between HI and LO transmitter power levels.
Button Beep BP Enables or disables the button beep option.
VOX VX Enable or disables VOX voice activated PTT.
Power Save PS Enables or disables the power save option.
Roger Beep
RG Enables or disables the roger beep option.
Duplex DP Enables or disables the duplex option.
Voice Scramble SR Enables or disables the scrambler option.
Squelch Tail ST Enables or disables the squelch tail option.
Scan SC Enables or disables the scan option.
PROGRAMABLE BUTTON
The radio is equipped with a programmable button, labelled PRO on the side of the radio which can be
programmed to a number of dierent functions through the radio menu. A description of the functions
can be found in the table below.
To assign functions to the programmable buttons:
1. Press and hold the Menu key until the radio beeps.
2. Press the Menu key repeatedly until ‘ProG’ is displayed.
3. Press and hold the Menu key until the radio beeps or programable button sub menu appears.
4. Press the or keys so select select the desired option.
5. Press the PTT switch to conrm and store selection
