Blowers
Overaperiodoftime,ashesordustmaycollectonthe
bladesofboththecombustionblowerandconvection
blower.Forthisreasonyoushouldperiodicallyremove
theseblowersfromtheunitformaintenance.The
blowersshouldbevacuumedcleanasashes,creosote,
dust,etc.willaccumulateonthe
blowerbladesandcan
impedeperformance.Theblowersneedtobe
brushedcleanedandvacuumedatleastonceevery
tonofpelletsburned.
Theconvectionblowerisaccessedbyremovingthe
stove’sleftsidepanel.Thecombustionblowercanbe
accessedbyremovingtherightsidepanel.The
convectionblower
isontheleft(facingstove),andthe
combustionblowerisontheright.
Whencleaning,becarefulnotto
dislodgebalancingcliponconvection
blowerortobendfanblades.Some
stoveownerslightlysprayananti‐creosote
chemicalonthefiretohelpreducecreosote
formationwithinthestove.
