Why is the display erratic on my Graco Paint Sprayer, turning on and off?
    • J
      Jeffrey WintersSep 12, 2025
An erratic display that turns on and off might be due to the cable not being grounded, so ground the cable. Also, the extension cable might be too long; it must not exceed 100 ft (30.5 m).

Why is the hose heat low on my Graco Reactor A-25 Paint Sprayer?
    • D
      deannasmithSep 12, 2025
Low hose heat can occur for several reasons. The A and B temperature setpoints may be too low, so increase them, keeping in mind that the hose is designed to maintain temperature, not increase it. The hose temperature setpoint itself might be too low, so check and increase it as needed. High flow could be a factor, so consider using a smaller mix chamber or decreasing pressure. If the current is low and an FTS is not installed, install an FTS. The hose heat zone may not have been turned on long enough, so allow the hose to heat up or preheat the fluid. Also, check for loose hose electrical connections and repair them as necessary.

Why is there no display on my Graco Reactor A-25 Paint Sprayer?
    • X
      xharrisSep 12, 2025
If there is no display, first ensure that the main power is turned ON. Then, check the display cable for any looseness. If the cable is properly connected, the display board may have failed, in which case you should check and replace the board.

What causes low heat in A or B zones of my Graco Paint Sprayer?
    • J
      John GlennSep 9, 2025
Low heat in zones A or B can stem from various causes. First, check if the A and B temperature setpoints are too low and increase them if needed. High flow can also be a factor, so consider using a smaller mix chamber or decreasing the pressure. Other potential issues include a defective heater, loose connectors or wire nuts, low voltage, an overheated temperature control board (check fan operation, ensure the door is closed, and verify cooling holes are clear), or fluid that is too cold (preheat the fluid).

How to troubleshoot no hose heat in my Graco Reactor A-25?
    • A
      anthony28Sep 8, 2025
If there's no hose heat, start by checking the hose electrical connections for any looseness and repair if necessary. Make sure the circuit breakers (CB1 or CB2) haven't tripped and reset them if needed. Verify that the hose zone is turned on by pressing the zone key. Also, check if the A and B temperature setpoints are too low and increase them if necessary. A failed temperature control board could also be the problem. To check the temperature control board, open the cabinet and see if the board LED is blinking. If not, check the power wiring connections to ensure the board has power. If the board has power and the LED is not blinking, replace the board.

Why is there no heat in A or B zones of my Graco Reactor A-25?
    • W
      William DeanSep 8, 2025
Several factors could cause a lack of heat in zones A or B. Begin by checking if the circuit breakers have tripped and reset breaker CB3 or CB4. Ensure the heat is turned on by pressing the A or B zone keys. Look at the temperature displays for any diagnostic codes. Check for loose connectors or wire nuts. A defective heater or failed temperature control board could also be the cause. To check the temperature control board, open the cabinet and see if the board LED is blinking. If not, check the power wiring connections to ensure the board has power. If the board has power and the LED is not blinking, replace the board.

What to do if Graco Paint Sprayer pump does not run up and down?
    • A
      Amanda CoxAug 23, 2025
If the pump doesn't run, check the following: 1. Ensure the air motor shutoff valve is open. 2. Confirm the air supply line is connected. 3. Open the inlet air ball valve. 4. Adjust the air pressure regulators (they might be set at 0 psi). 5. If the air motor shuttle valve is centered, push the button on top of it.

Why is there no power when disconnect switch is turned on in Graco Paint Sprayer?
    • T
      Tyler HenrySep 6, 2025
If there is no power when the disconnect switch is turned on while using 200-240V, 1 phase or 200-240V, 3 phase power, the power terminal jumper may still be at the 350-415V, 3 phase position. Place jumpers in correct position.

Why external main supply power circuit breaker trips and Reactor disconnect switch fails when switch is turned on in Graco Reactor A-25 Paint Sprayer?
    • K
      Kenneth LloydSep 5, 2025
If the external main supply power circuit breaker trips and the Reactor disconnect switch fails when turned on, and you are using 200-240V, 3 phase or 350-415V, 3 phase power, the power terminal jumper may have been left in the 200-240V, 1 phase position. Place jumpers in correct position.

    Nicholas PorterSep 4, 2025
What to do if my Graco Reactor A-25 Paint Sprayer has erratic display?
    • D
      Donna BlairSep 4, 2025
An erratic display that turns on and off can be due to low voltage, so ensure the input voltage is within specifications. Also, check and replace the damaged cable if there is a poor display connection or the display cable is damaged or corroded. Ground the display cable and ensure the display extension cable does not exceed 100 ft (30.5 m).
