6. SAFETY PROTECTION
The main risk is due to the revolving drills. To reduce this risk to the minimum, our machines have been
equipped with the following safety devices:
1) Emergency Pushbutton
It is located on the control board in the front part of the machine. When it is pressed, all machine move-
ments are halted immediately.
2) Set of Plates
They contain an accurate description of safety precautions and indications on how to operate the ma-
chine and make it possible to identify the machine parts. One of these plates contains the identification
data and the serial number of the machine itself.
3) Side Protections
They prevent the operator from inserting his/her hands accidentally into the machine when the spindle-
head is moving.
4) Safety hold down clamps (patented)
They remain either on the machine table surface or on the piece to be worked that has already been po-
sitioned, thus preventing the operator from accidentally placing his hands under one of them.
5) EL Safety Device
No-return coil to prevent accidental starting of the machine.
CAUTION SYMBOL: ALL OPERATIONS MARKED WITH THIS SYMBOL ARE
DANGEROUS FOR THE OPERATOR. AS A RESULT THE OPERATOR MUST
PAY THE GREATEST ATTENTION WHILE CARRYING THEM OUT.
