9.4 Fault codes and remedies
9.4.1 Code 1 (Fault ID 1 or 2, Overcurrent)
Fault ID Fault name
1 Overcurrent (hardware fault)
2 Overcurrent (software fault)
Cause Remedy
AC drive has detected too high current (> 4*I
H
) in the
power cable:
• sudden heavy load increase
• short circuit in power cables
• unsuitable motor
• Check the load.
• Check the motor.
• Check the cables and the connections.
• Run an identification.
• Check the ramp times.
9.4.2 Code 2 (Fault ID 10 or 11, Overvoltage)
Fault ID Fault name
10 Overvoltage (hardware fault)
11 Overvoltage (software fault)
Cause Remedy
The DC-link voltage has exceeded the limits defined.
• deceleration time is too short
• brake chopper is disabled
• high overvoltage spikes in supply
• start/stop sequence is too fast
• Extend the deceleration time.
