Merkmale des CCF 8300
Das CCF 8300 ist ein HiFi Frontlader-Doppelcassettendeck mit den beiden Lauf-
werken: A-CMAY-6 und B-CMAY-2.
Die 4 Funktionen des Betriebsartenschalters
ace = Normailauf von Laufwerk A oder B
pre) = 1 x Reverse von Laufwerk B
(oun) = Dauerreverse von Laufwerk B
AUTOPLAY = Dauerwiedergabe (Autorepeat)
abwechselnd Laufwerk A und Laufwerk B
Laufwerk-A (links)
— Wiedergabe Stereo, mit automatischer Umschaltung der Entzerrungszeitkon-
stanten nach Bandsorte, siehe Pkt. 6 im »Elektrischen Teil«.
Bei den Funktionen 1 x Reverse “25 und Dauerreverse GSD gibt das
Laufwerk A normal wieder.
Laufwerk B (rechts)
—' Aufnahme/Wiedergabe Stereo.
- Bandsorten-(Vormagnetisierung) und Entzerrungszeit = Konstanten-Umschal-
tung automatisch durch Cassettenfihler.
Funktion: 1x Reverse =>
~ Laufwerk B schaltet, nach Aufnahme- oder Wiedergabe-Start, am Bandende
in die Gegenrichtung um. Das Band lauft dann wieder in Aufnahme- oder Wie-
dergabe-Betrieb bis zum automatischen Stop am Bandende.
Funktion: Dauerreverse C=)
- Das Laufwerk B gibt im Endlosbetrieb in beiden Bandlaufrichtungen wieder,
ohne daB die Cassette umgedreht werden mu6. .
Bei Aufnahme lauft das Band bis zum Bandende, andert die Laufrichtung und
schaltet dann am Bandende ab.
Funktion: Autoplay
~ Dauerwiedergabe mit beiden Laufwerken.
- Legen Sie in beide Decks Cassetten ein.
- Wéabhien Sie der Aufnahme entsprechend DOLBY NR aus oder DOLBY NRA-B
oder -C ein.
- Drlicken Sie am Deck A die Taste - START >.
a. Das Laufwerk A spielt die Cassette bis zum Bandende ab und schaltet dann
auf schnellen Riicklauf (Autorepeat).
b. Gleichzeitig schaltet Laufwerk B auf Start und spielt nacheinander beide Cas-
settenseiten ab.
c. Danach schaltet Laufwerk A wieder auf Wiedergabe Start.
Die Vorgange a, b und c wiederholen sich.
Sie kénnen den Dauerlaufbetrieb auch mit dem Laufwerk B beginnen.
- Wird das Laufwerk B in Aufnahme-Betrieb gestartet, schaltet das Band wie
bei Normal-Betrieb am Bandende ab.
Kopieren von Cassetten (DUBBING).
Mit den 2 Laufwerken lassen sich Cassetten von Deck A zu Deck B tiberspielen.
Durch Drticken der Taste DUBBING starten beide Laufwerke, wobei Laufwerk A
wiedergibt und Laufwerk B aufnimmt.
Bei diesem Kopiervorgang sind die Dolby NR-Schaltung und die Aufnahme-Pe-
gelregler (RECORD LEVEL) ohne Funktion. Dolby B oder Dolby C wirken nur beim
Mithéren und hat keinen Einflu8 auf die Dubbing Aufnahme.
Bei DUBBING NORMAL ist das Mithdéren mit normaler und bei DUBBING HIGH
mit verminderter Lautstarke mdglich.
DUBBING NORMAL — = normale Kopiergeschwindigkeit
DUBBING HIGH = erhohte Kopiergeschwindigkeit
Betrieb mit externer Schaltuhr, TIMER
Sie k6nnen die Wiedergabe oder Aufnahme z.T. auch die Sonderfunktionen: Re-
verse, Dauerreverse und Autoplay mit einer Schaltuhr starten und beenden.
— Funktion mit TIMER- bzw. Betriebsartenschalter vorwahlen, siehe Bedie-
nungsanleitung.
— Deck mit dem Netzstecker liber die Schaltuhr an Netz anschlieBen.
— Ein- und Ausschaltzeit an der Schaltuhr einstellen.
Achtung! In Stellung REC. kann durch ungewolltes Einschalten beim AnschlieBen
an Netz oder Schaltuhr eine Aufnahme versehentlich geléscht werden.
Fernbedienung, Fernbecienbuchse-RC-BUS (Ruckseite CCF 8300 und Riick-
seite V 8300/V 8400). Deck A keine Fernsteuerméglichkeit.
Folgende Funktionen des Deck B k6nnen in Verbindung mit einem Verstarker
V 8300 oder V 8400 und der Infrarot-Fernbedienung RC 8400 ferngesteuert wer-
den. .
Die Verstarker V 8300 oder V 8400 dienen als zentraler RC-Empfanger und Ver-
teller. Die Fernbediensignale werden vom RC-Empfanger per Infrarot-Sensor auf-
genommen und Uber Bus-Leitungen an die verschiedenen Audio-Gerate weiter
gegeben, z.B. Tuner 8200, Cassettengerat CCF 8300 oder CD-Spieler CD 8200/
CD 8400-.

— Automatic change of tape (bias) and equalizing time constant by means of a
tape select lever.
Reverse once [>
— After recorder or playback start the tape drive mechansim B changes the di-
rection at the end of the tape. The tape is then recorded or played back in the
reverse direction until the respective operation is stopped automatic ally at the
end of the tape.
Continuous reverse CD
— In this operating mode the tape on the drive mechanism B is played back in
both directions without having to reverse the cassette by hand.
In record mode the tape is recorded up to the end of the tape, then the direc-
tion is changed the tape is recorded in reverse direction and switched off at
the end of the tape.
Autoplay
— Auto repeat on both drive mechanisms.
— Insert a cassette into each deck
- Select DOLBY NR off, DOLBY NR-B or -C according to the recording.
— Press button START on deck A.
a. The drive mechanism A plays back the cassette up to the end of the tape and
switches to fast rewind (autorepeat).
b. At the same time drive mechanism A starts to playback the tape in one direc-
tion and then in reverse direction.
c. Subsequently drive mechanism A starts to playback again. Steps a, b andc
are repeated automatically. It is also possible to start with dive mechanism B.
— If drive mechanism B is operated in record mode, the mectaanism switches off
at the end of the tape as in normal operating mode.
Dubbing
The two drive mechanisms allow to re record cassettes fromdeck A to deck B.
Pressing the DUBBING button causes the decks A and B to start to playback and
record, respectively. In this process the Dolby NR switch andttne recording level
controls are non - operative Dolby B or Dolby C are only active when monitoring.
They do not have any ifluence on the dubbing process.
DUBBING NORMAL and DUBBING HIGH allow to monitor theprocess at normal
and reduced volume, respectively.
Operation with external TIMER
Playback or recording as well as some special operating mods such as reverse,
continuous reverse and autoplay are also possible to be starticl and stopped by
an external timer.
- Select these functions by means of the TIMER or mode sect switches. See
operating Manual.
- For this purpose, connect the mains plug of the deck va the timer to the
mains.
— Set the switch-on/off time on the timer.
Caution! In REC. position a recording may be erased if the dec}is switched on in-
advertently when connecting it to the mains or timer.
Remote control, remote control socket-RC-Bus (on rear sidecof CCF 8300 and
V 8300/V 8400). Deck A cannot be controlled remotely.
In combination with a V 8300 or V 8400 amplifier and the RC 80 remote control
unit the following functions of deck B are remote-controllable,
The V 8300 or V 8400 amplifier works as a central emote control reaxyer and distributor.
The remote control signals are picked up by an infrared sensor of }e@ RC receiver and
are supplied on the bias Lines to the other audio components suchas the 8200 Tuner,
CCF 8300 tape deck or the CD 8200/CD 8400 CD player.
