5.1.4 Measure the pipe diameter
The correct diameter of the pipe or channel is necessary for accurate flow calculations.
1. Measure the inside pipe diameter (ID) at three locations. Refer to Figure 19. Make sure that the
measurements are accurate.
2. Calculate the average of the three measurements. Record this number for use during the
software setup for the site.
