1.1.1 Timed-Cycle Measurement
The time-cycle measurement mode controls the sample frequency by using
an integral quartz crystal time-based clock and solid state controller. The
samples are set from 1–9999 minute intervals on a 4-digit thumbwheel switch.
1.1.2 Flow Proportional Sampling Mode
The sampler accumulates 1–9999 contact closure signals between sample
events from an external flow meter using the flow proportional sampling
mode. A 4-digit LED display continually indicates the number of minutes or
contact closures remaining until the next sample event. The volume of the
individual sample event adjusts in 25 mL increments. Adjust the volume by
setting the number of dipper arm cycles for an individual sample event on the
2-digit thumbwheel switch.
