Accessing Controls
Behind the control area on the bulkhead is a
cover which allows access to the capacitor and
some connections to the control board.
Capacitor: The capacitor assists the compressor
starting and lowers the running current.
WARNING: Move the protective shield and
discharge the capacitor with proper insulated
pliers and electrically rated gloves before
attempting service.
To access the control connectors or remove the
control. release the standoff.
Carefully lower the control to a service friendly
position.
