8.3 Disassembly of the Spring Closing Unit
The dismantling of the spring closing unit is described in this chapter.
Caution – Damage to components!
The pressure spring has a slight pretensioning so that care must be taken when
dismantling the spring closing unit (use the assembly device).

Serial No. Type of activity
1 Place the assembly device [4] on the valve cover. Screw the assembly devices
threaded rod into the valve rod [6].
2 Turn the threaded rod’s lock nut and lift the valve approx. 6 mm.
3 Remove the cover bolts [5].
4 Relax the assembly device and draw out the spring inset.
5 Remove the stop ring [7] and push the upper piston [8] from the bushing.
6 Change the quad-ring (10).
7 Change the O-ring (100) and /or the pressure spring.
