11 Disposal
11.1 Disposal of Packaging
Note!
The packaging can consist of the following materials:
Wood; PE foil; paper; plastic; strap iron
The packaging must therefore be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly way.
11.2 Disposal of the Valve Parts
Please note the following instructions which must be adhered to when disposing of
exchange or spare parts.
Serial No. Type of activity
1 Find out how the valve’s individual components are to be disposed of.
Ask your environmental adviser if necessary.
2 Disassemble the valve inset from the valve housing.
3 Carry out the necessary maintenance or repair work. The drives should
only be repaired by the manufacturer.
4 Dispose at the same time of all affected parts of the valve so that
damage to health and environment is excluded
Caution – Damage to components!
The pressure spring has a slight pretensioning so that care must be taken when
dismantling the drive.
The following materials were used to manufacture the double-seat valve:
Metal parts Rolled or forging material 1.4404 and 1.4301 or other stainless steels
Seals; guides Elastomers, EPDM
