What causes a Low Pressure Alarm on the Left or Right Tower Drying in my HANKISON HBP3200 Dehumidifier?
    • K
      Kevin MitchellNov 22, 2025
If the HANKISON Dehumidifier displays a Low Pressure Alarm on either the Left Tower or Right Tower during drying, it could be due to several reasons. There might be a loss of dryer air supply, so check the compressor supplying the dryer. Excessive air demand downstream of the dryer could also be the cause, so check the equipment. A faulty drying tower pressure switch could be the issue; check its operation using the tower pressure gauge for comparison and replace the switch if defective. The drying tower Inlet Valve might have failed to open; check for loss of pilot air, ensure the manual drain valve on the bottom of the pilot air filter is fully closed, ensure the pilot air filter cartridge is not clogged, and ensure the pilot air shut-off valve is open. The drying tower Purge Exhaust Val...

Why is my HANKISON Dehumidifier showing a High Pressure Alarm on the Left or Right Tower while regenerating?

If the HANKISON Dehumidifier shows a High Pressure Alarm on the Left Tower or Right Tower while regenerating, the problem could stem from a faulty regenerating tower pressure switch. Check the pressure switch operation by comparing it with the tower pressure gauge and replace it if it's defective. Another potential cause is a clogged regenerating tower Depressurization Muffler; examine the inner core and clean or replace it as necessary. The Regenerating tower Depressurization Valve might have failed to open; check the valve operation and repair or replace it if possible. An obstructed regenerating tower purge exhaust piping could also be the cause; ensure the piping is free of obstructions. Additionally, the Regenerating tower Purge Exhaust Valve might have failed to open; check for loss ...

What should I do if my HANKISON Dehumidifier displays a Low Pressure Alarm on Left or Right Tower when regenerating?

If the HANKISON Dehumidifier is showing a Low Pressure Alarm on the Left Tower or Right Tower while regenerating, it could be due to a faulty left tower pressure switch. Check the pressure switch operation using a tower pressure gauge for comparison, and replace the switch if it's defective. Another possible cause is that the Regenerating tower Purge Exhaust Valve has failed to close; check for air flow out of the regenerating tower Purge Valve or exhaust piping, indicating the valve is not completely closed. The Regenerating tower Depressurization Valve might also have failed to close; check for air flow out of the regenerating tower Depressurization Muffler, which would indicate the valve is not completely closed. Additionally, the Repressurization valve (V11) might have failed to open; ...
