ALKALINITY
• Remove the cuvette.
Note: Any chlorine present in the sample will interfere
with the reading. To remove the chlorine interference
add one drop of HI93755-53 Chlorine Removal Reagent
to the unreacted sample.
• Add 1mL of HI775S Alkalinity Reagent to the sample
using a 1 mL syringe.
• Replace the cap and invert 5 times.
• Reinsert the cuvette into the instrument and close the lid.
• Press Read to start the reading. The instrument displays the results in mg/L calcium carbonate
(CaCO
3
).
