• Replace the cap and invert several times to mix.
• Place the cuvette into the holder and close the lid.
• Press the Zero key. The display will show “‑0.0‑” when the meter is zeroed and ready for
measurement.
• Remove the cuvette.
• Add 1 mL of HI93752B‑Ca Calcium Reagent B
to the sample using the 1 mL syringe. Invert the
cuvette 10 times to mix (about 15 seconds).
• Reinsert the cuvette into the instrument.
• Press Timer and the display will show the countdown prior to the measurement or, alternatively,
wait for 5 minutes.
