Setting J3 Jumpers
The J3 jumper is used to set channel configuration, control mode, and
enabling input backup. Follow this procedure to set the jumper:
1. Locate jumper set J3 on the module. Figure 2-2 shows the standard
location of the jumper set.

2. Place a jumper on the pin that corresponds to the setting that you
want. (See page 21 for a description of the J3 settings.)
Note
You need to configure modules
for local or remote operation
before power-up. To change the
configuration, first remove
power from the module, reset
the jumper, and then reapply
power.
