Step Activity Figure
3 Place a suitable container un-
der the fuel filter to collect the
remaining fuel.
4 Pull the fuel line (4) off of the
fuel filter (5) on both sides and
insert a new filter.
Observe the flow-through di-
rection (arrows).
5 Attach the fuel filter to the
holder.
6 Fill the fuel tank with diesel
fuel (see chapter 7.7 Refuel-
ing, page 51).
The fuel system is bled auto-
matically.
7 Check the fuel filter and lines
for tightness after a brief trial
run.
