Effects (FX) pedals or rack units may be connected in line using
short mono jack leads, or patch leads. Jack to jack adapters may be
used if they are able to line up effectively. Changing the order in
which FX pedals are connected will also affect tone and how noise
levels compound. Therefore, pedals with the highest output and
lowest noise (s/n = signal to noise ratio) may be best placed first in
the chain
FX may be added to an Output of EDB-2 VAP. However, you should
be aware that this placement would mean that the FX will not then
be present on other Outputs from the pre-amplifier
13.2 INSERT POINT: STEREO SEND & RETURN (Tip / Ring /
Sleeve: TRS) - CHANNEL 2 FX LOOP
Located on left side
Requires a “Y” Lead (stereo TRS jack plug to 2 x mono jack plugs).
Enables a chain of FX to be inserted into Ch.2
Send signal is to Tip of jack plug (usually red/white wire) and return
signal to Ring of Jack Plug (usually blue/black wire)
