NOTE : In the following steps, (NS} means
not to solder the connection because other
wires will be added later. "S-" with a
number after it such as (S-3} means to
solder the connection. The number indi -
cates the number of wires in the connec-
tion .
'r-- Connect a 3-1 /2" white wire from
lug 2 of switch G (S · 1} to hole S on
the circuit board ( S· 1).
Connect a 3·3/ 4" brown wire from
lug 5 of switch G (S-1) to hole T on
the circuit board (S -1 ).
CIRCUIT BOARD CHECKOUT
Carefully inspect the circuit board for the
following conditions.
( ) Unsoldered connections .
( ) "Cold" solder connections.
( ) Solder bridges between foil patterns .
( ) Protruding leads which could touch
together .
( ) Transistors for the proper ~ and
installation.
( ) Electrolytic capacitors for the
correct position of the positive ( +)
end.
( ) Switch lugs shorted together by
protruding leads or too much solder.
