CHASSIS ASSEMBLY
Refer to Pictorial 3-1 (fold-out from
Page 8) for the following steps.
( ) Mount the left chassis to the rear
\ panel with three No 6 x l /4

sheet
metal screws.
( ·) Mount the right chassis to the rear
panel with three No 6 x 1/4

sheet
metal screws.
- -(-} Mount the front panel to the right
and left chassis with six No 6 x
1 /4

sheet meta ·1 screws.
-- ~ ) Press a grommet into hole BB in the
right chassis.
In the same manner press a gronrnet
into hole BC in the right chassis.
( ) Refer to Detail 3-lA and cut the
three power transformer leads as
indicated. Remove 1/4

of insulation
from each lead and twist together
the strands of wire at the end of
each lead. Melt a small amount of
solder on the bare wire ends to hold
the strands together.
Mount the power transformer to the
chassis at BA . Use four No 8 lock-
washers and four 8-32 nuts. Route
. the leads thro ugh the opening as
shown .
