( ) Push the TUNER pushbutton and locate
a good, strong stereo signal on the
tuner unit. Adjust the VOLUME
control to a comfortable listening
level. Then adjust the BALANCE
control so both speakers appear to
produce the same level of sound.

( ) Alternately depress the PHONO and
the TUNER pushbuttons. Refer to
Figure 1-8 and adjust PHONO LEVEL
controls Rl23 and R124 until you
hear the same amount of sound from
the phono channels as you do when
the TUNER pushbutton is depressed.
