C Fasteners can become loose during transport in the packaging.
PACKAGE CONTENTS
1x lawn mower body, 1x upper part of the handle, 1x lower part of the handle, 1x grass catcher,
1x handle for the grass catcher, 1x safety key, 1x mulching wedge, cable clamp (HECHT 5041 -
1x / HECHT 5041 S, 5045 S - 2x), 1x manual for use

• Standard accessories are subject to change without notice.
• This product requires assembly. The product must be assembled correctly before use.
ASSEMBLY
The complete push bar and the grass catcher must be assembled before using the lawnmower.
HANDLE
1. Release the locking knobs on both sides (fig. 2A).
2. Flip the handle from the transport position to the operating (straight) position (fig. 2B).
3. The handle’s incline angle (and therefore its height) can be adjusted and secured in three
positions (fig. 3+4). Set the handle’s desired incline angle.
4. Lock the locking knobs on both sides (fig. 2C).
5. Connect upper and lower handles with supplied screws and nuts. Do not forget to the right
side of the handle insert the cable holder (fig. 5).
6. Finally, attach the cables to the assembled handle using clamps.
COLLECTION BASKET
1. Place the handle on the holes in the top part of the collection basket.
2. From the other side of the basket (fig. 6), fasten the handle with screws (fig. 7).
COLLECTION BASKET INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
1. Installation: Lift the rear cover of the discharge channel and attach the collection bag to
the back of the mower (fig. 8).
2. To remove: grasp and lift rear cover, remove grass catcher.
INSERTING THE SAFETY KEY
1. Lift the battery cover (fig. 9A).
2. Insert the safety key into the slot (fig. 9BC).

First read the instructions supplied with the battery and those supplied with
the charger before inserting the battery.
INSERTING THE BATTERY
1. Only insert a fully charged battery.
2. Lift the battery cover (fig. 10A).
3. Place the safety key (fig. 11A) in the OFF position.
