C During operation, always hold the handle switch buttons firmly with both hands.
WARNING! B
The blade starts turning as soon as the motor is started. Cutting elements continue
to rotate for some time after the motor is switch off.
STARTING
You must press at least two switching elements to start the motor.
1. Insert a fully charged battery.
2. Insert the safety key (fig. 9) and turn it to the ON position. (The mower won’t start without
the key fully inserted).
3. Stand behind the mower.
4. Press the safety button (fig. 14A).
5. Hold the switch lever and push it all the way to the handle (fig. 14B).
6. The motor starts.
7. Release the safety button.
8. You stop the motor by releasing the switch lever.
CAUTION! A
Do not touch the rotating blade.
Do not tilt the lawn mower when starting the motor.
Start the mower on a level surface, free of high grass or obstacles.
If the tool stops during use, the following may be the causes:
Dead battery.
Excessive current consumption (e.g., by mowing grass that is too high, clogging the discharge
channel, hitting an obstacle, etc). Release the switch buttons to reset the tool and pull
the switch buttons to resume operation.
Excessive temperature. If the battery is too hot, check the battery and let it cool.
Note: I
The battery pack indicator LED will not work if the battery protection feature has caused
the battery pack to stop powering the tool. Release the tool trigger or remove the battery
pack from the tool and the battery pack LED indicator will resume normal function.
TO STOP MOTOR
WARNING! B
The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after the motor is shut off.
1. When the switch lever is released during machine operation, the motor stops and mowing
is interrupted.
2. Remove the safety key, to prevent accidental starting while equipment is unattended.
3. After finishing work, remove the battery(s).
